BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

Maine Calzone Dough 5” Pre-sheeted Round (3oz)

Individual 3oz pre-sheeted calzone dough rounds, made to thaw, fill, seal and bake in your food service program. Ideal for reducing labor prep and cutting times, AND conserving sheet pan use. The perfect product for your program!

PANNING

Thaw dough.

  • Place frozen dough rounds on sheet pan lined with greased parchment paper.

  • Allow to thaw overnight on the refrigerator OR 1 hour at room temperature.

  • Dough should be malleable before filling.

FILL

Fill with desired ingredients.

  • Place 2oz of desired filling in the center of the dough round.

  • Sauces are recommended as a dip and not an ingredient. This prevents sogginess.

  • Fold dough over ingredients, crimp with a fork to seal.

  • Poke holes with fork to vent calzone.

BAKE

Bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes or the crust is golden brown.
