BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
Maine Par-Baked Crust “Sicilian Style” ½ Sheet
These Sicilian-style ½ sheet parbake crusts are ideal for bake-to-order, fast food service applications that favor speed, efficiency, locally grown ingredients, minimal processing, and healthy nutrition, without chemical additives or preservatives. They were designed to feature fresh stone-milled whole grains from Maine, in a convenient product that can be used for crispy square pizza styles, garlic pazzo bread (cheese sticks), dipping breadsticks with seasonings, folded for panini flatbread sandwiches, or bruschetta. For quick breakfasts, top with eggs, cheese, and your favorite breakfast ingredients for a hearty breakfast pizza of frittata flatbread. Transform par-baked crusts into sweet treats by adding fruit, chocolate, or other dessert toppings and baking until golden. They are ideal for saving labor prep and cutting time, maximizing servings per sheet pan, and conserving sheet pan use. These crusts are pre-cooked during manufacturing.
PANNING
Place frozen bread on a sheet pan.
Use greased sheet pans or greased parchment on sheet pans. Generous oil creates a crispy edge!
Thawing is optional.
SAUCE AND TOP
Add 8oz sauce and 18oz cheese per ½ sheet (or nutrition requirement)
For best results, sauce and cheese to the edge, thus maximizing dairy serving coverage and preserving crust tenderness.
BAKE
Bake at 425°F for 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
Turn pizzas halfway through the bake.
